Choose your product and an offered colour or length first, then your photo. The camera and photo initially stay on your device. Only after your explicit consent and click on “Start try-on” do we send your original photo, the selected product photo and your choices to OpenAI. Further explicit selection changes automatically trigger new preview requests during this active session; rapid changes may be combined, and your selection is locked while a calculation is running. Each request uses your original photo, not the previous AI preview. Processing may take place in the USA. No preview requests are sent without a photo, consent and the first start.

Previews are based on your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; where your photo reveals health data, Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent for further requests at any time; requests already transmitted cannot be recalled. Salon advice is also available without a photo.

Before transmission, photos are re-encoded, reduced to at most 1536 pixels and stripped of embedded metadata. We do not store photos or results permanently. Temporary remnants are cleaned during later requests at the earliest after 15 minutes; IP limit identifiers become eligible after 48 hours and enhanced details of completed requests with known costs after 30 days, at the next cleanup. A reduced request ID, status, timestamps and cost record has no automatic final deletion period; unresolved requests remain until reviewed. Cleanup may be delayed. Shop product images generate normal image-request data at the shop.
